| Most people think they know what to expect in a library. Books. But historical society libraries are quite different. They preserve the details of the personal lives of the citizens of the area, over the years. They preserve the roots of the civilization of the community that flourishes today. |
They bring history to life and add detail to the dates the ancestor lived. The Library of the Hershey-Derry Township Historical Society is just such a place and contains a variety of holdings and collections not available for researchers anywhere else in the community. And the really good news - it is free to all visitors, members or not. |
