Volunteers Needed

The Society is in need of a “few good volunteers”, and we’re hoping you might help. We are busily planning to formalize a volunteer program and identify a volunteer coordinator to oversee all relative volunteers, projects, and training. As we develop this program, there are ongoing projects that need attention. The following is a list of current projects waiting for someone with the special skills, talent, and energy to tackle them!

• Monthly Programs: coordinator for raffles & refreshments 

• A.V. Tech/ Videographer: to duplicate all forms of modern media and record monthly programs

• Collections management: to organize the accessions room

• Landscape & Maintenance: basic landscape (including weeding, planting) & building maintenance

• Data Entry & Word Processing: for the library, word documents, and tracking statistics

• Museum Store: front desk & retail staff, & merchandise display & purchasing •
